Start Studios began as a dream, four designers dreaming about creating a space completely dedicated to intentional creation, a space to be present, to connect and speak our minds.

With time we decided that to make this dream come true, we just had to start somewhere. This later became the philosophy behind our studio.

A misconception in life is that you have to be good at something in order to enjoy it, we reject this idea of good and bad by encouraging experimentation without judgment. We stand for authenticity, connection, interaction and collaboration.

We are committed to make a change, by only working with left over materials from various industries. By repurposing them, we aim to eradicate the idea of disposability and encourage intentional creation while promoting appreciation for craft and the process of creation.

To us, life itself is an art form, and being present in that process is essential. We embrace modularity and customization, believing that design should adapt, evolve, and remain accessible to all. Art is the truth of being, a continuous cycle of learning, unlearning, and relearning.

In contrast, we stand against planned obsolescence, judgment, and the gatekeeping of creativity, design should last, be open to everyone, and exist without barriers.
